Ohio Stadium

We paint the landmarks where legends are made.

Columbus, Ohio

Fondly known as “The Horseshoe,” Ohio Stadium is one of the most recognizable sports facilities in all of athletics. Built in 1922 on the banks of the Olentangy River, the stadium seats over 100,000 spectators in a fashion that’s simultaneously intimate to fans and intimidating to opponents. The Painting Company was proud to be part of the three-year-long renovation of this one-of-a-kind National Register landmark.

How did we restore and renovate one of the most storied and well-loved college football stadiums of all time?

The Painting Company worked tirelessly to meet tight deadlines and coordinate the efforts of more than fifty painters while successfully encapsulating all lead paint to revive the original architecture of this Columbus landmark. We successfully brought beauty and history together not only in the magnificent Huntington Club, but also in each of the stadium’s suites and on all of the structural steel.

With our years of experience in beautifying a variety of sports facilities, The Panting Company was able to be an integral part of the preservation and expansion of a grand, classic structure.
