How did we prepare and paint the exposed structures 75 feet above Olympic-size swimming pools?
Since we were working over Miami University’s existing pools and the cost of building a scaffolding would have been prohibitive, The Painting Company got creative. Through coordination with university representatives and the project’s general contractor, a section of the exterior wall was left unfinished. This allowed us to use a 30-ton crane to place 80-foot boom lifts in the (unfilled) pools. Once our painting was completed, the wall went up without delay.
